Border Guards Detained a Ukrainian with a Fake Passport: Offered a Bribe of 100 Thousand Hryvnias.

According to inkorr.com: The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine recorded an attempt by a Ukrainian citizen to illegally cross into Slovakia. The man tried to cross the border using a fake passport of a Saudi Arabian citizen. When he was detected, he attempted to bribe the border guards and switched from English to Ukrainian.

“The man pretended to be a foreigner and communicated only in English. But when he realized he was caught, he switched to Ukrainian and pulled out a hidden Ukrainian citizen passport. At the same time, he offered a bribe of 100,000 hryvnias to the border guards,” the State Border Guard Service noted.

According to the inspection results, it was revealed that the citizen planned to reach his relatives in Belgium using a fake passport he bought for 550 dollars. However, due to the detection of the forgery, he was unable to carry out his plan and remained on the territory of Ukraine.

The border guards demonstrated a high level of professionalism by exposing the offender who tried to circumvent the law and illegally leave the country. Thanks to their efforts, an attempt to exit with fake documents was prevented.
