Weather Forecast for Lviv and the Region on June 15
According to Novyny.live: On June 15, Lviv and the surrounding region are bracing for thunderstorms, rainfall, and strong winds. The forecast calls for partly cloudy skies accompanied by brief showers. Wind speeds could reach up to 20 m/s, posing a significant safety concern for residents.
Across the Lviv region, nighttime temperatures will range from +5 to +10 °C, with daytime highs climbing to between +17 and +22 °C. In the city of Lviv itself, overnight lows will be slightly warmer at +7 to +9 °C, and daytime temperatures are expected to hit +19 to +21 °C. In response to the predicted storms and wind gusts, authorities have declared a level one (yellow) danger warning.
Fire Risk and Road Safety Concerns
In addition to the weather, the Lviv region is currently facing elevated fire hazards. The city of Rava-Ruska has been classified under a high (fourth-class) fire danger level, while Brody is at a moderate (third-class) risk.
Notably, a traffic accident occurred in the Sheptytskyi district on June 13, resulting in one fatality and four injuries. On the same day, a rally supporting prisoners of war took place in Lviv, drawing relatives of captives and veterans.
Local residents are urged to exercise caution given the upcoming weather conditions and to remain mindful of the fire danger warnings.
