According to Novyny.live: A catastrophic road accident in Ukraine’s Mykolaiv region has claimed 12 lives. The head-on collision between a minibus and a truck occurred on the M-14 highway, which connects Odesa, Melitopol, and Novoazovsk.

The driver of a Nissan vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, triggering the devastating crash. Police have detained a 45-year-old man driving a Nissan Murano, who is believed to be responsible for the tragedy based on preliminary findings.

The minibus, a Mercedes Sprinter, was operating a route from Odesa to Mykolaiv at the time of the accident. Investigators, forensic experts, and detectives are currently working at the scene.
