According to Novyny.live: Residents of the Kilievo community in Odesa Oblast are bracing for a planned increase in water supply and sewage tariffs, driven by rising electricity costs and higher prices for purchased water. The final decision is expected at a meeting of the Kilievo City Council’s executive committee.

• The water supply tariff may go up by 4.69 UAH, from 58.72 to 63.41 UAH per cubic meter.
• Sewage rates could also climb, moving from 55.43 to 57.65 UAH per cubic meter.
• For businesses, water prices would rise to 79.94 UAH per cubic meter, while sewage costs would reach 69.00 UAH.

In the village of Lisy, the monthly water fee for a single household might increase from 211.65 to 225.44 UAH. This adjustment reflects broader market shifts, including a planned hike in the cost of purchased water from 35.00 to 40.00 UAH per cubic meter starting in April 2026. Additionally, electricity prices have surged from 13.50 UAH per kWh at the beginning of 2026 to 16.32 UAH currently.

The water utility has already recorded losses exceeding 268,000 UAH over a two-month period, underscoring the urgency of tariff adjustments. These factors highlight that the rate increase is a necessary measure to ensure the continued stability of water supply and sewage services in the region.
