The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine has removed the monument to Alexander Pushkin from the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine
The Pushkin monument in Bolhrad is no longer an object that cannot be demolished by the decision of the Ministry of Culture. It was installed in 1971, but now it may be dismantled.
'The Ministry of Culture has finally removed the Pushkin monument in the city of Bolhrad, located in the Odesa region, from the register. We are waiting for the dismantling,' - reported activists of the NGO 'Decolonization.Ukraine'.
The decision regarding this monument was sent by the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory at the beginning of July.
