Zelensky held a meeting with Syrskiy and Shmyhal: what they agreed upon in Sumy region.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a working trip to the Sumy region held a meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskiy, Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal, and the Commander of the Air Assault Forces Oleg Apostol. They discussed the situation along the entire line of combat operations.
This was reported by the press service of the Office of the President on Wednesday, August 6.
Zelensky's meeting with heads of territorial communities
It is noted that during the meeting priorities and Ukraine's plan for the next six months were discussed. Separately, the president listened to reports from the Ministry of Defense and the command of the Air Assault Forces.
“We are working on strengthening the defense and further enhancing the capabilities of our warriors,” he added.
During the working trip to the Sumy region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with military unit leaders, discussing the situation on the front line. He also emphasized the necessity of strengthening the country's defense capabilities and supporting the Ukrainian military.
