Bread prices in Ukraine may rise by 20%
Bakers allow the possibility of a 20% increase in bread prices due to the rising cost of flour and other ingredients needed for its production. The president of the All-Ukrainian Association of Bakers, Yuri Duchenko, stated that if this does not happen, many enterprises may stop, and the country faces a bread shortage. Flour prices have risen by 50% in recent months, which has led to an increase in the cost price of bread. In addition, other raw materials have also risen in price by 20% or more.
