The finalists of the National Selection for Eurovision-2025 have been named

The organizers of the national selection for Eurovision-2025 have published the names of nine finalists of the contest, which will take place at the end of December 2024. Voting for the last finalist of the National Selection began on January 13. Discussions about famous performers, their songs, and participants of the qualifying stage have started online.

According to Tina Karol, the music producer of the National Selection, many well-known performers could not submit applications due to the rules of the Public Broadcaster. Young performers dominate among the finalists.

Voting for the last finalist will last from January 13 to January 17. It has been noted that most Ukrainian performers write their stage names in Latin letters and in uppercase letters.

Scandals have also arisen in the National Selection. Artist Enleo confessed that he listens to Russian-language compositions, but this does not affect his attitude towards the war and the actions of the Russian authorities.

Tina Karol commented on these words, noting that Enleo did not violate the application submission rules for Eurovision, but it is a matter of morality. She emphasized that this situation differs from what happened with Alina Pash.

Attention was also drawn to Muayad's repost on TikTok, where there were videos condemning the actions of Irina Farion and containing sexist remarks. However, Muayad later deleted these posts.

The National Selection for Eurovision-2025 will require adherence to a new Code of Conduct for participants and media representatives.
