Tina Karol (born as Tatjana Grigorjewna Liberman) – Ukrainian singer and actress, presenter. People's Artist of Ukraine (2017), soloist of the ensemble of songs and dances of the Armed Forces. Winner of the young artists singing competition 'New Wave 2005'. She represented Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 and took seventh place.

Place of Birth. Education. She was born in the Magadan region. Her real name is Tatjana Liberman. No one in the family had anything to do with music; the singer's father and mother are engineers, and her older brother Stas is a lawyer.

At the age of six, Tina Karol moved with her family to Ukraine, to Ivano-Frankivsk. After graduating from school, she went to Kyiv, where she studied music professionally.

She graduated from music school with a focus on piano, completed the State Music Academy of Kyiv named after R. M. Glier. In addition, she completed distance learning at the Faculty of Management and Logistics at the National Aviation University.

She played leading roles in the plays 'Ghosts of the Day', in the musicals 'Equator', 'Assol', in the TV musicals 'Carnival Night', 'Star Holidays'. She represented Ukraine at the gala concert of the 'Slavic Bazaar.'

She won the International Singing Competition 'New Wave 2005' (2nd place, special prize from Alla Pugacheva).

She represented Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with the song 'Show Me Your Love' (7th place).

She hosted the TV shows 'I Want to Be a Star' and 'Dancing with the Stars' on the channel 1+1 (her partner in the show was entertainer Yurij Horbonov).

Trainer of the show 'Voice of the Country' (2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021). Trainer of the show 'Voice. Children' (2012, 2015, 2016).

In February 2020, Karol was a jury member of the national selection of Ukraine for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020.

Awards and Titles. She was named 'Woman of the Year', 'Discovery of the Year' and 'Outstanding Person of the Year'. Awarded the Order for Peace Missions, 'Golden Feather' diploma for her contribution to the development of Ukrainian culture. By decree of President Viktor Yushchenko, she was awarded the medal 'For Labour and Courage'.

Personal Life. In 2008, the singer married her producer Yevgeniy Ohyr, and on November 17 of the same year, she gave birth to a son. On April 29, 2013, Yevgeniy Ohyr died of stomach cancer.
