Operation 'Midas' and the detention of participants in a criminal group
According to inkorr.com: The investigators of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine conducted Operation 'Midas', during which they detained members of a criminal organization. Among those detained was the executive director of physical protection and security of JSC 'NAEK 'Energoatom'. The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention or the possibility of posting bail in the amount of 40 million hryvnias.
The principle of presumption of innocence
It should be emphasized that according to the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent until proven guilty in court. Thus, the court's decision is only a temporary measure in the investigation of this case.
