Naftogaz explains how to save on gas payments - details.

The press service of the state-owned company 'Naftogaz of Ukraine' reported on social media Facebook that citizens can pay their natural gas bills using funds from the 'National Cashback' program.

The 'National Cashback' program was launched by the government in the fall of 2024. Citizens are required to purchase Ukrainian goods, which then generate a cashback of 10% of their value. The maximum compensation is up to 3 thousand UAH per month. To participate in the program, one must have a virtual or physical card linked to purchases from Ukrainian manufacturers.

To accumulate cashback, citizens can open a virtual or physical card, link it to purchases from Ukrainian manufacturers, and receive 10% of the purchase amount to a special account.

How to pay for gas using national cashback

'Naftogaz' customers can use the accumulated money from the 'National Cashback' program to pay for utility services, including natural gas.

To pay for gas using cashback, one needs to log into the consumer cabinet on the gas supplier's portal or app, find the 'National Cashback' option, and confirm the withdrawal of funds from the special account. Payments must be made by the 25th of each month.

It is also worth remembering that when changing the owner of the property, it is necessary to update the personal gas account, following the relevant rules.
