NATO will not leave Ukraine: when will peace talks begin.
According to inkorr.com: The Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Giuseppe Cavò Dragone, stated that the alliance will not leave Ukraine without support until opportunities for peace talks arise. The war between Russia and Ukraine continues, but it is already time to seek solutions through dialogue.
From an operational perspective, 'it is almost time to sit down at the negotiating table, as it is a pointless waste of lives.'
Dragone believes that Russia's aggressive actions against Ukraine have led to a strategic defeat for President Putin, as they became the catalyst for Finland and Sweden's accession to NATO. He also warns of potential threats to the Baltic states and promises a collective response from the alliance in the event of aggression.
'NATO remains a nuclear alliance, but its strategy is focused on deterrence,' Dragone emphasized.
Giuseppe Cavò Dragone stressed the importance of strengthening Europe's defense capabilities and supporting countries that face threats. The modernization of security systems and collective deterrence of aggressors remain priorities for NATO.
'The alliance is reliable, mature, with a cohesion that is our center of gravity. The alliance is stronger than our adversaries, and we will support Ukraine until the day peace comes,' concluded Dragone.
Statements from the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee indicate the alliance's readiness to continue supporting Ukraine and strengthening defense in Europe until a sustainable peace and stability are achieved in the region.
