Meeting of Zelensky and Nawrocki in Warsaw: Why This is Bad News for Moscow.
According to ТСН: Today in Warsaw, a meeting was held between the presidents of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and Poland, Karol Nawrocki. This visit of the Ukrainian leader is considered 'bad news for Moscow.'
'This visit is good news for Warsaw and Kyiv, but bad news for Moscow. It is proof that in strategic and security matters, Poland, Ukraine, and other democratic states are together,' said Nawrocki.
He emphasized that Zelensky's visit to Poland demonstrates unity on security and defense issues between Warsaw, Kyiv, and their partners in the region. Both leaders share the view that Russia is a 'neo-imperial, post-Soviet' state that poses a threat to the region.
The President of Poland also stressed the need for maintaining strict sanctions against Russia, which is trying to 'undermine the international order' and destabilize political systems.
'Peace in Ukraine must be lasting, not one that allows the RF to regroup forces,' Nawrocki emphasized, adding that the Russian threat did not start in 2022 with a full-scale war, but began much earlier.
Nawrocki also expressed the opinion that only US President Donald Trump can force Putin to end the war.
Thus, the meeting of the presidents highlighted the necessity of close cooperation between Ukraine and Poland in ensuring security in the region. Both countries called for increased international pressure on Russia, which reflects their shared desire for stability and peace on the European continent.
