NBU showed expectations of banks, analysts, and the public regarding the dollar exchange rate.
The National Bank of Ukraine published the results of a survey on the expected dollar exchange rate, indicating further growth.
According to the study, banks predict that in 12 months, the dollar exchange rate will be 44.92 hryvnias per dollar. This is 1.77 hryvnias higher than the previous forecast in July, when the expected rate was 43.15 hryvnias per dollar.
Interestingly, earlier in August, businesses expected a rate of 43.72 hryvnias per dollar. The public also joins the growth forecasts, expecting a rate of 44.54 hryvnias per dollar, which is 0.51 hryvnias higher than the September figure of 44.03 hryvnias per dollar.
Financial analysts are somewhat more reserved in their expectations, but also foresee an increase in the rate to 44.08 hryvnias per dollar, which is 0.10 hryvnias higher than the September forecast.
