Not only 'Diia': Ukrainians have been named ways to apply for a subsidy online.
The housing subsidy program in Ukraine continues to operate to help citizens pay for utilities. Now consumers have new opportunities to submit applications for subsidies. This can be done in electronic format, which greatly simplifies the process for many Ukrainians.
This is reported by 'Khvylia', referring to a video instruction from the PFU.
For those who already receive a subsidy, it is important to know that its amount automatically changes when utility tariffs change. However, new applicants must submit documents to receive the subsidy.
One convenient way to apply for a subsidy is to use the 'Diia' portal. The application process through this service takes about 15 minutes and is conducted in a simplified form. To start, you need to:
- Authorize on the 'Diia' portal
- In the 'Services' section, find 'Subsidy Application'
- Check and update personal data if necessary
- Specify the address and list of services for which the subsidy is needed
- Enter the IBAN account for the subsidy accrual
- Provide information about registered individuals and those actually living (important for private house owners and renters)
- Sign the application with an electronic signature and send it
You can also apply for a subsidy through your personal account on the Pension Fund of Ukraine portal. The PFU has prepared detailed video instructions for users. The application is submitted in the 'Communication with the Pension Fund' section.
Electronic submission of the subsidy application has several advantages:
- saving time as you do not need to visit government institutions in person
- convenience - the ability to submit an application at any time
- simplicity - users have access to an understandable interface and step-by-step instructions
It is also important to enter data correctly when submitting the application, especially regarding family composition and existing incomes. This will help avoid delays in reviewing the application and assigning the subsidy.
Recall, earlier the PFU named the utilities for which a subsidy can be obtained.
