Own Business: Which Business Areas Receive Loans.
More than 600 Ukrainians have become happy owners of grants from the 'Own Business' program for a total amount of 157 million UAH.
Areas of Activity of Grantees
According to the Ministry of Economy, the most popular sectors where grant recipients plan to work are wholesale and retail trade, repair of vehicles, temporary accommodation and catering, processing of industrial products, and provision of other services.

According to the program's results, 59% of grant recipients are women, 31% are men, and 10% are legal entities, most of whom have higher education.
Distribution of Grants by Regions
The largest number of grants was allocated in Lviv (57), Kharkiv (50), Ivano-Frankivsk (43), Kyiv (42), Odesa (34) regions and the city of Kyiv (53).
The majority of recipients plan to invest funds in micro-grants for the purchase of necessary equipment for business development.
Support in Frontline Areas
The first Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko reported: '133 grantees from eight frontline regions received financial support from the 'Own Business' program. To support business in these regions, the grant amount was doubled, totaling 55 million UAH.'
Since the program's inception, grants have been awarded to over 26 thousand Ukrainians for a total amount of 6 billion UAH. At the same time, grantees have made a contribution to the budget of 8 billion UAH through tax payments and fees.
The data shows that the 'Own Business' program truly promotes entrepreneurship development in Ukraine, helping young entrepreneurs obtain the necessary financial support to launch or grow their businesses.
