New range of KitKat bars

According to The Sun: NESTLE will introduce a new line of KitKat bars with different flavors this month.

The renowned confectionery manufacturer will launch chocolate-wafer bars in two new mini-sizes.

The new KitKat line will be fully launched in AugustNestle

Among the new products is a multipack with mini KitKat Chunky bars, which contains 12 small bars, each with only 83 calories.

The range is already available for sale in the UK: at Tesco, the bars cost £4, and with Clubcard — £3.25.

At the end of the month, the manufacturer will also introduce a new line of KitKat Mini Mix.

These smaller versions of the two-finger KitKat will contain only 93 calories. Each pack will have 14 bars with five flavors to choose from.

Among them are white and milk chocolate, as well as rare flavors: hazelnut, salted caramel, and peanut butter.

These new flavors were previously known in larger sharing packs, but now they can be purchased in mini-versions for the first time in the UK.

“We have turned our favorite KitKat products into mini-versions that can easily be shared with family and friends,” said Stevenia Skales, marketing manager for KitKat at Nestlé UK & Ireland.
“Individually wrapped, these new products offer consumers the opportunity to enjoy delicious KitKat bars in smaller, convenient portions.”

This comes against the backdrop of new KitKat flavors launched in recent weeks, including a new gingerbread flavor.

At Sainsbury's, an 8-pack of KitKat 2 Finger Gingerbread Flavour can be purchased for £2.20.

Nestlé also unveiled a new KitKat Chunky Funky that combines marbled milk and white chocolate.

Other news from the chocolate industry

This is not the only innovation from Nestlé. The company has reduced the size of Quality Street from 600g to 550g.

The new purple packs contain approximately 57 confectionery pieces — 6 less than before.

A Nestlé representative stated that the reduction in size is related to production costs, “ingredients and transportation.”

This year, the legendary Christmas chocolate candies will again be sold in paper packaging.

Ecological octagonal packaging will be available in selected Tesco stores starting in October.

Addressing the issue of product sizes and introducing new flavors is an important strategy for Nestlé, which aims to adapt to the current market demands. The launch of new portions and packaging not only expands the range but also meets the needs of consumers looking for convenient options to share products with loved ones.
