Netanyahu Nominates Trump for Nobel Peace Prize.
The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has nominated U.S. President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. Netanyahu announced this during a dinner at the White House in Washington.
In a letter to the Nobel Committee, Netanyahu wrote: 'He is establishing peace right now. In one country and one region after another. Therefore, I want to present to you, Mr. President, the letter I sent to the Nobel Prize Committee. It nominates you for the Peace Prize, which you fully deserve, and you should receive it.'
Trump reacted to this initiative, calling it very significant, thus confirming his readiness to receive such an award. Trump's nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize is not the first instance - Pakistan had previously done so. Moreover, the media had reported that Trump himself had repeatedly been nominated for this prize, but has yet to receive the award.
Darrell Issa, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from the Republican Party, also stated that he would support Trump in his efforts to become a laureate of the Nobel Peace Prize.
The Prime Minister of Israel nominated the U.S. President for the Nobel Peace Prize, believing that Trump deserves this award due to his role in peacekeeping processes around the world. Pakistan also nominated Trump for this prize, and Trump has already been on the list of candidates for this award several times, but has not yet received it.Read also
