Facebook Group snack reviewsIn one Facebook post, an informed shopper shared a picture of the new product spotted at Marks and Spencers.
He captioned: “OMG! The new Marmite sauce with caramel is now at M&S.”
The label reads: “Smooth caramel sauce blended with the iconic Marmite taste.”
However, not everyone was pleased; some reviews were negative.
One dissatisfied shopper reacted with the comment: “Disgusting!”
Another added: “Tell me this is a joke!”
The third commented: “I can't fathom how this could taste, even though I like both products!”
“I love Marmite, but this is not it!” - noted another shopper.
However, someone else wrote: “Amazing, I can't wait to try it.”
M&S is not the only company that has elicited mixed reactions from shoppers.

Terry’s Chocolate caught attention with a new flavor released for Christmas.
