Babybel's profits and new products
This announcement came after Babybel launched another popular snack earlier this year, Mini Babybel Protein. The product was developed at a time when 35% of consumers were actively looking for ways to increase their protein intake.
Mini Babybel Protein contains 5.2 grams of natural protein per serving.
“We’re seeing more consumers prioritising protein but they’re also looking for simplicity, real ingredients and great taste,”— said Bel UK's marketing manager Oliver Richmond.
This snack has a creamy taste and nutritional benefits, made from 100% natural cheese without additives and is suitable for on-the-go consumption.
Babybel remains an important player in the snack market, achieving over £104 million in annual sales. The brand holds a quarter of the cheese sector in the UK and aims for further growth. Recent news indicates an 8.6% increase in sales value and a 5% increase in volume compared to last year.
The demand for new flavors and innovative products from Babybel indicates that the brand is actively responding to rapid changes in consumer tastes. With new offerings, the company aims not only to maintain its market position but also to attract new fans of its product. We'll see how consumers react to this spicy novelty in the near future.
