Lulamba can start in the races in France: Favorite Arkle has registered.

New season for Lulamba

According to The Sun: Trainer Nicky Henderson explained that Lulamba, the favorite from Arkle with odds of 6-1, will compete in a jump race. Yesterday he finished second in last year's Triumph and is now a contender for the prestigious Grade 1 Prix Renaud du Vivier race taking place in November.

The race over a distance of 2 m 3.5 km will be held at the French racetrack Auteuil, where participants like East France, who finished second in the King George, have previously won.

This decision was surprising as Henderson had previously hinted that 'Lulamba is likely to take on a new distance.' However, he can compete in both races this season, as done by his owner, the stallion Sir Gino, last year.

Joe and Marie Donnelly were shifted into the Fighting Fifth in Newcastle when it became clear that Constitution Hill could not participate. There he won easily and then the Grade 2 Wayward Lad Novices’ Chase in Kempton.
