According to UATV: Russia launched a nighttime attack on Kyiv on June 28, leaving two people wounded. The assault began around 2:30 a.m., with the heaviest impact concentrated in the Darnytskyi district, where fires and falling missile debris were reported.
A total of 142 drones were deployed during the strike, and at least seven missiles were successfully intercepted. The types of missiles used in the attack included:

- Iskander
- Ballistic missiles
- Surface-to-air missiles
