According to UATV: On June 8, Russian forces carried out multiple strikes across Ukraine, targeting Odesa, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, leading to casualties and infrastructure damage. In Odesa, a public transport stop was hit, injuring two people and damaging vehicles, the stop itself, and a dispatch center. Meanwhile, in Chornomorsk, a drone struck a residential building, though no casualties were reported there.
Power outages in Odesa left over 1,000 customers without electricity due to disruptions caused by the attacks. In Konotop, a drone assault damaged an apartment building, resulting in one man dead and three others injured. Artem Semenykhin stated,
“In Konotop, one dead, three injured.”
In the Sumy region, specifically the Vorozhba community, two people were hurt by drone strikes, while the Hlukhiv community recorded four injured individuals.
The Dnipropetrovsk region also faced heavy attacks, with 40 strikes across four districts, injuring four people. In the Synelnykove district, both multi-story and private homes were damaged. In Dnipro, transportation infrastructure was hit, and in Kharkiv’s Kholodnohirskyi district, a warehouse was destroyed, though no casualties occurred there.
