Overnight Russian Strikes Hit Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Odesa Region: Casualties and Damage Reported.
Attacks on Civilian Infrastructure in Ukraine
According to Espreso.tv: Russian forces launched attacks on Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and the Odesa region, resulting in injuries and significant destruction. The first explosions in Zaporizhzhia were heard at 10:49 PM local time. Six people were wounded in the city, including two women aged 73 and 32, as well as a 15-year-old boy.
“The enemy attack immediately caused injuries to women aged 73 and 32,” said Ivan Fedorov, the mayor of Zaporizhzhia.
Developments in Kherson and the Odesa Region
In Kherson, Russian troops targeted civilian vehicles, leaving a 51-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman injured.
“Russian occupiers continue to use drones to attack civilian transport in the city,” reported Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration.
Additionally, during the night of July 12, Russian forces struck Kherson, the Odesa region, Chernihiv region, and Dnipropetrovsk region. In the Odesa district, a strike hit the upper floors of a multi-story residential building.
“The enemy attacked the region with strike drones,” said Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration.
These events highlight the ongoing aggression by Russian forces against Ukraine’s civilian population. The situation across Ukraine remains tense due to relentless attacks aimed at civilian infrastructure, underscoring local authorities' concerns and the urgent need for public safety measures.
