Meeting with representatives of Norfund
According to inkorr.com: Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine Denys Bashlyk held a meeting with the leaders of the Norwegian investment fund Norfund, which also included representatives of the Norwegian Embassy.
According to the Ministry, the participants discussed investment opportunities in the fields of irrigation, agri-food processing, and biomethane capacity.
Denys Bashlyk thanked Norfund for their readiness to consider investment projects during the full-scale invasion.
He emphasized that Ukraine has great agricultural potential, and the recovery of this sector after the war requires an innovative approach and the attraction of foreign investments.
Representatives of Norfund familiarized the attendees with their activities in the areas of direct investments, renewable energy, circular economy, digital infrastructure, and agribusiness.
They emphasized that the fund has significant experience working in high-risk markets, which could be beneficial for Ukraine.
During the meeting, potential areas of cooperation between Ukraine and Norfund were also discussed, which could contribute to the development of agriculture and the recovery of the economy. We hope that such a meeting will lead to positive results and the attraction of foreign investment in Ukraine.
