According to inkorr.com: An opportunity for a medical professional to undergo an internship

Since childhood, Victoria dreamed of becoming a doctor. After school, she enrolled at the Vinnytsia National Medical University named after M.I. Pirogov, which she successfully graduated from in 2025.

Thanks to the new electronic ranking distribution system implemented in Ukraine in the year of her graduation, Victoria was able to choose a place for her internship in a medical institution according to her preference.

This year, there was a possibility to obtain budget places for internships not only in state and municipal but also in private medical institutions.

Victoria will undergo her internship at one of the Kyiv branches of the medical network 'Dobrobut'. This opportunity brings her great satisfaction:

"I wanted to intern in the capital because Kyiv opens new avenues. And although they told me it was unrealistic, I knew I wanted to achieve this. The electronic system gave me the option to choose the place I wanted; it gave me a chance, and I took that chance."
ℹ The system has been created by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine on the Diya.Engine platform with the support of the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP Program, implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation.

The Ukrainian medical system is actively developing, providing young specialists with the opportunity to undergo internships at various institutions, which contributes to their professional growth and preparation for future practice.

The development of the electronic distribution system for internship places reflects the changes in medical education in Ukraine, made possible by state initiatives and collaboration between institutions. This not only gives young doctors a chance to choose a place of study based on their interests but also improves the quality of medical staff in the country.
