Nuno Espírito Santo could lead West Ham: what is known about the next coach.
Possible arrival of Nuno Espírito Santo at West Ham
According to The Sun: Nuno Espírito Santo is ready to return to coaching at West Ham if Graham Potter is sacked.
AlamyWest Ham management is considering the possibility of sacking Potter after a tough start to the season that has lasted eight months.
Nuno, a 51-year-old coach who recently left Nottingham Forest, could be the successor to Potter as he is interested in a London offer.
However, the Portuguese's salary demands may be too high for the club, along with compensation for Potter and his staff.
Candidates for Potter's position
Recruitment head Kyle Macaulay is likely to leave the team if Potter is sacked.
Among possible candidates for this position, former coach and player Slaven Bilic is also mentioned, although the Croatian could apparently only work until the end of the season.
Another option is Gary O'Neil, who has previously successfully kept teams in the Premier League.
It is considered whether the next two games for the team, away matches against Everton and Arsenal, could be positive for the new coach.
These matches will take place before the international break in October, which could be a convenient time for changes.
LUCKY BETS AND REGISTRATION OFFERS
Although Potter is still in charge, he lacks support from the club's management.
A strange 1,376-word statement from the board recently appeared, which did not contain clear support for Potter.

They are also concerned about the form of summer signing Mads Hermansen, who became the main goalkeeper under Potter.
Hermansen was substituted in the match against Crystal Palace for Alphonse Areola due to a series of mistakes at the start of the season.
Problems with defensive organization have also caused dissatisfaction among the management.
Potter himself complained about delays in the player-selection process during the summer when many agents and clubs were told there was no budget until the last week of the transfer window.
After the loss to Crystal Palace, which was the third consecutive defeat in London derbies, Potter noted that he believes he is the right candidate to improve the situation.
He was appointed in January to replace Julen Lopetegui, who, in turn, led the team for only six months after replacing David Moyes.
The situation at West Ham remains tense as the team is not meeting the demands of their fans. The upcoming matches could be decisive for the coaching staff and the club's future direction. The results of these games will determine not only Potter's fate but also the prospects for new leaders of the team. Fans are left waiting for improvement in results or a possible change on the coaching bench. All eyes are already on the away matches that could define the further course of the season.
