According to Espreso.tv: Ukrainian forces are maintaining their defense of Kostiantynivka despite heavy pressure from Russian troops. Vasyl Pekhnyo shared this update on the Espreso TV program 'Now the Main Thing.' He emphasized that while the situation on the ground remains challenging, the city's defenses have not collapsed. On July 4, reports emerged that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin had been informed of Kostiantynivka’s alleged capture. But just one day later, on July 5, fighters from the 19th Corps released a video shot inside the city, directly refuting those false claims. Pekhnyo stressed that despite the large number of Russian forces present in Kostiantynivka, Ukrainian drone operators are effectively striking and eliminating enemy targets.

'As of today, the fact remains that the defense of Kostiantynivka is holding,' Vasyl Pekhnyo stated.
