Mandatory Evacuation Expanded in Donetsk Region: Where Families with Children Must Go.
Zone for Compulsory Evacuation Broadens
According to Espreso.tv: Starting June 9, the area requiring mandatory evacuation for families with children in the Donetsk region has been expanded, following approval of an order by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin. This decision introduces new restrictions that now cover the districts of Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, and the settlement of Bilyenke.
Residents with children living in Pryvillia and Malotaranivka are now subject to evacuation. It is important to note that children will be evacuated together with their parents, guardians, or other legal representatives. Representatives from military administrations, law enforcement, rescue services, social workers, and child welfare specialists are all involved in carrying out these evacuation measures.
Protecting Families with Children
A full list of affected settlements and streets has been published on the website of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. This move is part of broader efforts to safeguard families with children in the region.
The expansion of mandatory evacuation for families with children reflects an increased focus on civilian safety amid the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine.
These steps are critical for reducing risks from hostilities and ensuring the protection of the most vulnerable populations. The involvement of multiple agencies in the evacuation process also highlights a comprehensive approach to addressing humanitarian needs in the area.
