Russian Strike on Kherson Hospital Injures Nurse, 15 Civilians Hurt in Two Days.
Medical Facility in Kherson Hit by Russian Attack
According to Novyny.live: On March 6 at 09:15, a Russian strike targeted a medical facility in Kherson, injuring a 41-year-old male nurse. The man suffered blast injuries and a concussion from the attack and was immediately hospitalized. This assault is part of a wider pattern of attacks on civilian infrastructure in southern Ukraine, which has seen heavy fighting since Russia's withdrawal from the city in late 2022.
The incident occurred amid continuing Russian attacks on civilian targets in the Kherson region. Over the two days of March 3 and 4, a total of 15 people, including children, were wounded in the area. The situation in and around Kherson remains tense as shelling of civilian sites persists.
Safety of Medical Facilities and Civilians at Risk
This strike underscores grave concerns for the safety of medical facilities and civilians in Ukraine, particularly in active combat zones. Damage to healthcare institutions can severely impact the delivery of medical aid and the region's long-term stability. In wartime, the protection of civilian objects remains a critical issue for the international community and human rights organizations.
