Shelling and Drone Strike: Casualties Reported in Nikopol and Chernihiv

According to UATV: On July 26, Russian forces shelled the city of Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, injuring a six-year-old boy. The child was taken to a regional hospital in Dnipro, where doctors describe his condition as moderate. The attack also sparked a fire on the grounds of a private residence.

That same day, Russian forces launched a drone attack on Chernihiv. One unmanned aerial vehicle struck an ATB supermarket in the ZAZ district. The assault left two people dead, including a 10-year-old boy. In total, at least 20 individuals were reported wounded in the Chernihiv strike.

"A six-year-old boy was injured in the enemy shelling and taken to the regional hospital in Dnipro, where his condition is considered moderate," reported Oleksandr Ganzha.

These events underscore the continuing tension and violence in Ukraine, now well into its third year. The rising frequency of attacks on civilian infrastructure and the growing number of child casualties raise serious concerns about public safety in regions under fire.
