The head of the TCC in Transcarpathia found 100 thousand dollars: the money is undeclared.
According to ТСН: During searches at Andrii Savchuk's place, the head of the Transcarpathian regional TCC and SP, law enforcement officers found 100 thousand dollars in cash, which had not been declared.
A deputy of the Uzhhorod City Council, former journalist Vitaliy Hlahola, shared this information:
“As I learned from my informed sources, during a search at the residence of the head of the Transcarpathian regional TCC and SP, Colonel Andrii Savchuk, law enforcement officers discovered about 100 thousand US dollars in cash.”
It is preliminarily assumed that this money had not been declared. Currently, law enforcement is documenting the seized money and checking the origin of the funds as part of the investigation.
Hlahola also added:
“There are no official comments from law enforcement agencies regarding the found money at this moment. I continue to clarify the details.”
It was previously reported that the SBU and the police are conducting sanctioned searches of Savchuk and his subordinates on December 29. The investigative actions are taking place within the framework of a criminal proceeding related to the illegal deprivation of liberty of citizens. Details of the case are planned to be disclosed later.
It remains unclear what role these findings play in the investigation. The case is constantly developing, and the public is awaiting further data from law enforcement. The main question is how these funds are connected to Savchuk's activities and whether they could lead to new investigations.
