Russian troops are preparing for attacks in the Pryiutne area of the Zaporizhzhia region. They are gathering their forces and equipment and continuously conducting reconnaissance and shelling.
This was reported by the spokesman for the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, Vladyslav Voloshyn, on the air of the "Unified News" marathon, reports FREEДОМ.
According to him, Ukrainian military are aware of the plans of the Russian army and are ready to meet it with resistance.
"The enemy typically conducts assaults with small groups of infantry, hoping to improve their tactical position. They will try to capture certain territories and develop an offensive from there. But for this, the Russian army needs significant forces. In the south, it receives weapons from temporarily occupied Crimea by railway. But the logistics routes of the Russian troops are under the fire control of the AFU," said the spokesman for the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, Vladyslav Voloshyn.
