The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that Russian forces captured the settlement of Yuzhne in the Torets direction. This information was reported by the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

From July 29 to 30, Russian forces continued offensive operations north of Kharkiv near Hlyboke and northeast of Kharkiv near Vovchansk, but there were no official confirmations of changes in this area.

On the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line, Russian forces continued ground attacks, but there was no confirmation of their advancement. They attacked in the areas of Pishchane, Novosynove, Stelmakhivka, Makiivka, Nevske, Terny, and Serebrianske forest.

The occupiers also continued offensive actions in the Siversk direction, but there are no confirmations of their success. According to Russian bloggers, their forces advanced to Pereiizdne and reached its southern outskirts, but ISW found no confirmation of these claims.

Tactical movements of the occupiers also occurred near Chasiv Yar. Russian armored vehicle movements in July show that they made minor advances through the Siverskyi-Donets-Donbas canal, but Ukrainian forces struck the vehicle.

According to information, Russian forces advanced near Toretsk. The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that they captured the settlement of Yuzhne, and Russian bloggers asserted that they also entered the boundaries of New York and near Druzhba, Zalizne, and Pivnichne. However, ISW has no confirmation of this information.

The occupiers also continued to advance near Avdiivka. According to Russian bloggers, they broke through the Ukrainian defense near Vesele, advanced west of Lozuvatske, strengthened their positions on the eastern outskirts of Tymofiivka, advanced in the fields east of Ivanivka, and moved from Yasnobrodivka towards the Karlivka reservoir. However, ISW found no confirmation of these claims.

The occupiers continue to make minor advancements west of Donetsk, in particular, making minor advances northwest of Marinka. Russian forces are also conducting limited attacks near the Donetsk-Zaporizhzhia region border near Velyka Novosilka and Urozhaine.

Despite Western reports describing advances near Staromaiorske and Urozhaine as substantial setbacks for Ukrainian forces, ISW believes these captures are not of significant military value, as these settlements are small and Russian forces cannot threaten any important targets from these positions.

Russian forces also made minor advances in the western Zaporizhzhia region, particularly northwest of Robotyne. On July 30, fighting continued on the left bank of the Kherson region, particularly on the islands in the Dnipro River Delta.
