This afternoon, Russian troops shelled the urban-type settlement Borova in Kharkiv region. As a result of this incident, two people died, and residential buildings were damaged.
The occupiers struck the urban-type settlement Borova in the Izyum district at 12:40 PM. A 64-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized. A civilian man was also injured, information is being clarified - wrote the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov.
As a result of the shelling, houses and shops also caught fire.
Subsequently, the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration added that the number of victims increased to seven. It was also reported that the body of a woman was pulled from the rubble.
According to preliminary data, the enemy used cluster munitions, resulting in five houses catching fire. In addition, Synegubov noted that the Russian troops used double strike tactics.
Earlier, it was reported about the government decision on the forced evacuation of 269 children in three communities of the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region.
It is also known that the Russian army has deployed new reserves and increased the number of assaults in the Kharkiv direction.
