According to meteorologists, tomorrow the fifth, the highest level of fire danger will be in practically the whole territory of Odesa. In such weather, even a small spark or cigarette butt can cause a significant fire.
Extreme fire danger is expected in:
- Lyubashivka
- Zatishshia
- Serbtsii
- Rozdilna
- Odesa
- Chornomorsk
- Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi
- Saratskyi district
- Izmail
- Bolgrad
- Vilkove
'Weather conditions will contribute to an increased likelihood of the occurrence and spread of fires in ecosystems when there are sources of ignition', the meteorologists' report says.
Behavior rules during fire danger
To avoid fires, it is important to follow certain behavior rules:
- do not litter and do not burn dry grass or leaves on the premises;
- avoid open flames near dry vegetation and buildings;
- do not throw butts or matches onto dry grass;
- refrain from visiting forests, as you may encounter dangerous objects that threaten explosion.
If a fire is detected, immediately notify the Rescue Service at 101.
