At least one person has died as a result of a horrific accident when two overcrowded tourist trains collided head-on near Machu Picchu. Among the victims is one of the drivers, and dozens of passengers sustained serious injuries.The trains were traveling at high speed when this terrible collision occurred.“The situation was very tense, people were screaming and panicking,” witnesses describe the event.The circumstances of the accident remain unclear, but investigators have already begun an inquiry. Rescue teams are on site to assist the injured.
