According to inkorr.com: The heating season 2025-2026 in Ukraine will start in mid-October. In the Rivne region, it has already begun, and in Kyiv, 90% of residential buildings are ready for heating.
Electricity
Electricity tariff: will remain at the level of 4.32 UAH/kWh until the end of October. For subscribers using electric heating, special tariff offers will be introduced during the heating season.
Gas
Gas tariff: will remain at the level of 7.96 UAH per cubic meter until April 2026. Other suppliers offer prices ranging from 7.799 to 9.99 UAH per cubic meter.
Preparation for Winter
Preparation of residential buildings for the winter period is ongoing: currently, more than 103,000 out of 145,000 facilities are ready. The Ministry of Energy plans to prepare a capacity of 17.6 GW by the start of the heating season.
The main risk that arises at the beginning of the heating season is the financial aspect. Experts warn of potentially high gas tariffs in case of a cold winter and possible attacks on energy infrastructure. The government is focusing on protecting energy facilities and increasing fuel reserves to ensure hot water and heating during the winter period.
Thus, Ukraine is preparing for the heating season 2025-2026, maintaining stable tariffs for communal services while emphasizing existing risks and the importance of increasing readiness for a cold winter.
