Heating season in Ukraine: over 70% of social facilities have received heat.
According to inkorr.com: The heating season in Ukraine is currently in full swing. According to the Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine, Oleksiy Kuleba, more than half of the population and over 70% of social facilities connected to centralized heating are already receiving heat.
'We are considering various scenarios for the further development of events, to be able to effectively respond to any challenges. Currently, our focus is on the availability of reserves, fuel stocks, the continuous operation of the Points of Invincibility, and the physical protection of energy facilities. We are working on this every day,' emphasized Oleksiy Kuleba.
Priorities in heating supply
The reliable operation of the team engaged in connecting and developing distributed thermal generation, particularly cogeneration plants and block modular boilers, is one of the main priorities. These solutions help ensure energy stability for communities, even during massive shelling.
As of today, 1.8 GW of distributed generation is in operation, and work to expand capacity is ongoing. Despite attempts to disrupt the normal heating season, active efforts are being made by communities, regions, and relevant ministries to ensure stable heating supply.
Considering the needs of society and creating comfortable conditions during the heating period, the authorities are actively working on the development and support of the heating supply system to provide citizens with the necessary conditions and energy security.
This year's heating season is taking place under difficult conditions, but thanks to the efforts of the government, regional administrations, and utilities, the heating supply process has been established. There is an emphasis on the development of new technologies and alternative energy sources to ensure stability in critical sectors.
