OpenAI announces the 'Deep Research' feature in ChatGPT.
OpenAI introduces a new tool for ChatGPT called Deep Research
OpenAI has entered into a partnership with SoftBank to provide artificial intelligence services for businesses in Japan.
SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son announced the signing of the agreement with OpenAI's head Sam Altman. According to the agreement, SoftBank will pay 3 billion dollars annually for the use of OpenAI technologies in its companies. The joint venture will be owned by OpenAI and SoftBank.
Deep Research - a tool for conducting in-depth research
Deep Research is used alongside ChatGPT and is designed to search and analyze online sources based on the user's query. The result is a detailed report that researchers in various fields can use.
Using Deep Research takes between 5 and 30 minutes. The tool is already available to ChatGPT Pro users in the US with a limit of 100 studies per month. In the future, there are plans to expand access to this tool for other users.
It is important to note that during the analysis, Deep Research may provide fabricated facts, rumors, and incomplete assessments. The data obtained through this tool is recommended to be verified.
Expansion of access for users
Currently, Deep Research is available only in the web version of ChatGPT, but integration with mobile devices and computers is planned soon.
