The Ukrainian Parliament is preparing to vote on extending martial law and general mobilization in the country. The relevant decision is planned to be made in the upcoming plenary week of the Verkhovna Rada.

This was reported by the people's deputy from the Holos faction, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, on his Telegram channel. According to him, this will be the sixteenth extension of martial law since it was introduced.

'In the next plenary week, the parliament will again, for the 16th time, vote to extend martial law and general mobilization,' the deputy noted.

According to the information, martial law and mobilization are traditionally planned to be extended for 90 days. The new term of these measures will cover the period from August 7, 2025, to November 5, 2025.
