Housing rental in Ukraine has sharply increased: TOP-5 most expensive cities.
According to LUN data, the Ukrainian rental housing market shows a steady trend of rising prices. The analysis reveals significant differences in rental costs across different regions.
Prices for one-room apartments
According to inkorr.com: The rental of studios and one-room apartments in Ukraine currently has the highest rates in the following cities:
- Uzhhorod - 21.1 thousand UAH/month
- Kiev - 20 thousand UAH/month
- Lviv - 19 thousand UAH/month
- Ivano-Frankivsk - 16.9 thousand UAH/month
- Lutsk - 16 thousand UAH/month
Prices for two-room apartments
In the segment of family apartments with two rooms, the prices look as follows:
- Kiev - 29 thousand UAH/month
- Uzhhorod - 25.3 thousand UAH/month
- Lviv - 23.2 thousand UAH/month
- Ivano-Frankivsk - 19 thousand UAH/month
- Lutsk - 18 thousand UAH/month
Prices for three-room apartments
The most expensive three-room apartments are observed in:
- Kiev - 42.2 thousand UAH/month
- Lviv - 29.5 thousand UAH/month
- Uzhhorod - 27.4 thousand UAH/month
- Odessa - 25.3 thousand UAH/month
- Ivano-Frankivsk - 21.1 thousand UAH/month
Price dynamics for rental
- One-room apartments:
In the last six months, prices for one-room housing have risen in all regional centers except Kharkiv. The most significant increase was observed in Odessa (63%), Ternopil (41%), and Cherkasy (38%).
- Two-room apartments:
The maximum price increase was noted in Odessa (41%), Chernivtsi (28%), and Vinnytsia (22%). In Chernihiv, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia, prices remained unchanged.
- Three-room apartments:
The highest price increase was observed in Lviv (28%), Odessa (27%), and Ivano-Frankivsk (26%). In Sumy, on the contrary, prices decreased by 20%.
Previously, significant price jumps for housing in Ukraine had already been recorded. The situation in the rental market affects both tenants and owners, as rising tariffs can significantly impact the living conditions of the population. It is necessary to monitor further changes to predict which regions may become the most sought after in the rental market in the near future.
