Pension Card Fee Overhaul by Oschadbank: Key Changes Coming in July 2026.
Oschadbank Unveils New Fee Structure for Pensioners
According to Novyny.live: Starting in July 2026, Oschadbank is rolling out updated tariffs for pension cardholders, eliminating charges on several banking transactions to ease financial management for customers. This move is part of the bank’s broader effort to modernize services and support retirees, who often rely on fixed incomes.
Under the new terms, there will be no fee for opening or issuing a personalized payment card. Topping up an account using an Oschadbank card is free, while deposits made by card number without the physical card will incur a 1% fee. Cash withdrawals at Oschadbank ATMs come with no charge, and customers can also access cash at other banks’ ATMs without a fee for up to 10,000 UAH per month. Amounts exceeding that limit will be subject to a 1% fee plus an additional 5 UAH.
New Limits and Service Adjustments
The updated tariffs introduce specific restrictions:
- Daily cash withdrawal cap is set at 100,000 UAH;
- Monthly transfers to other individuals’ cards are limited to 100,000 UAH;
- Payments to Oschadbank cards using a phone number will cost 3 UAH per transaction;
- Sending funds to cards from other banks via the mobile app carries a 0.5% fee;
- SMS notifications will be priced at 15 UAH, while Viber alerts will cost 10 UAH.
Effective July 1, 2026, Oschadbank is also canceling fees for several banking operations under the MORE package. These changes aim to enhance customer service and make financial products more accessible for pension cardholders.
The introduction of these new tariffs reflects Oschadbank’s strategy to improve client experience and could attract more users, particularly among retirees. By removing charges on select transactions and offering free services, the bank seeks to reduce the financial burden on this demographic.
