New talent of Manchester United
According to The Sun: Manchester United fans have recently been through tough times, but hope has emerged on the horizon thanks to 14-year-old talent JJ Gabriel.
JJ Gabriel had the chance to play for the U18 team this season, and in August he was invited to train with the first team of Ruben Amorim.
Today he made his debut in the Manchester derby match at the U18 level and impressed everyone with his confidence.
In the 15th minute of the game, Gabriel received a pass from about 30 yards out. He then burst into the penalty area and changed direction.
With excellent dribbling, he flawlessly hit the ball into the lower corner of the net.
The only thing the young striker failed to do was celebrate: he lost his balance while sliding on his knees.
The fans were thrilled with his incredible goal. One of them wrote on social media X:
“Our future is truly in reliable hands.”
The second added:
“I’ve seen it all, let’s put him on the first team bench!”
The third commentator emphasized:
“Remember this name.”
And another fan noted:
“This guy is special.”
In the 32nd minute, United doubled their lead thanks to a goal from Jim Twaits. However, things went south in the second half.
Tyrone Samba opened the scoring for Manchester City, and his brother Floyd Samba scored twice, leading to a defeat for the young Devils with a score of 4-2.
Goalkeeper Frederick Heat was sent off with 10 minutes left in the match.
This season, Gabriel has played six matches in the U18 Premier League, scoring seven goals and providing one assist.
Overall, JJ Gabriel’s debut in U18 matches promises to be significant not only for him personally but also for Manchester United. His bright performances could be key in the player’s future career as the team seeks new stars on the football horizon. Watching the development of this young talent in upcoming matches will be a true delight for the club's fans.
