How Ukrainians can report non-receipt of pension from Russia

According to inkorr.com: The press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine has announced that Ukrainians living in temporarily occupied territories or who have moved to territory controlled by Ukraine are entitled to receive pensions and social payments. However, to do this, it is necessary to confirm that they do not receive any payments from Russian pension structures.

This requirement is outlined in the resolution of the Government of Ukraine No. 299 dated February 11, 2025.

In order to continue receiving pensions or social payments, it is important to officially notify the Pension Fund of Ukraine about the absence of payments from Russia. There are several ways to do this.

Methods of submitting a report:

1. Via the Internet:

  • 'I am not receiving pension payments from another state, including payments from Russian pension authorities'
  • 'I am not receiving social payments for industrial accidents, occupational diseases, or in connection with the loss of a breadwinner from other states, including Russia'

2. Via video communication: This method involves communicating with an employee of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in a video conference format.

3. In person at the service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine:

  • Submit an application or a relevant notification.
  • Send a notification of non-receipt of payments from the Russian Federation by mail along with a document confirming identity.

Recall that it was previously announced about the reduction of pensions in Ukraine.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine emphasized that an official notification of non-receipt of pension from Russia is essential for continuing payments. It is important to take advantage of available options, including submitting information via the Internet, video communication, or visiting the service center in person.

Given the situation with receiving pensions, Ukrainians who are in occupied territories or have been forced to relocate should be particularly attentive. Clarifying information and following the necessary procedures will help ensure timely pension payments, which are crucial for citizens in this difficult time.
