The Pension Fund explained who urgently needs to reapply for subsidies.
Ukrainians will continue to receive housing subsidies for the heating season of 2024-2025
From January 1, 2025, Ukrainians will continue to receive housing subsidies for the heating season of 2024-2025. Citizens who have already been granted a subsidy do not need to submit a new application. However, there are certain categories of individuals who need to contact the Pension Fund for assistance.
As reported by 'Government online', you need to contact the Pension Fund if you are applying for documents for the first Time, if you were previously denied a subsidy due to debts or lack of income, if you refused the subsidy in summer but now want to restore it, or if there have been changes in the family composition, such as if you purchased an apartment, land plot, or a car.
You should also reach out in case of changes in the family, for example, if an adult child now lives separately, or someone has moved abroad, or if there has been a change in social status or the list of housing and communal services. 'Important! Subsidies are awarded from the month when you submitted the application,' government sources report.
It should be noted that there is currently a simplified mechanism for applying for housing subsidies. You can submit a simplified request, and the application and declaration will be prepared by the Pension Fund of Ukraine based on data from official registers. However, if you are submitting a full package of documents, you will need an application and a declaration. For the convenience of submitting documents online, the government has provided corresponding QR codes.
Additionally, you may need a rental housing contract, a copy of the debt restructuring agreement, if any exists, an act of inspection of material conditions, and other documents that confirm exceptional circumstances.
For those submitting applications offline, service centers of the Pension Fund of Ukraine are available, authorized representatives of the executive body of the village, settlement, city council, administrative services centers (CNAAP), and documents can also be sent by mail to the address of the territorial body of the fund. You can submit an application online through the Pension Fund's electronic services web portal, the mobile application 'Pension Fund', and the portal 'Diya'.
Among the changes affecting the calculation of subsidies, it is noted that for pensioners, the amount of the pension for the month prior to the month of application is taken into account, the maximum amount of purchases affecting the subsidy has been increased to 100,000 hryvnias, and expenses for a generating unit of up to 150,000 hryvnias are not taken into account.
It is noted that accruals under the 'National Cashback' and 'Winter eSupport' programs do not affect the amount of the subsidy.
