Pension Fund explained who will receive up to 17,800 hryvnias for heating.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine is starting the payment of subsidies and benefits for the purchase of solid fuel for the heating season 2024-2025.
This was announced by the Director of the Pension Provision Department of the PFU, Olena Okhrimenko, during the "Unified News" telethon.
"Currently, there are about 335,000 people in the Pension Fund's offices who receive a benefit or subsidy for the purchase of solid fuel. All these people can count on the payment," Okhrimenko noted.
According to her, the maximum amount of assistance for subsidy recipients is 17,800 hryvnias. The amount of payment is calculated individually, considering:
- household income
- number of family members
- previous payments received for fuel purchase
Important: those who have already received a subsidy this year do not need to apply again. "We independently form lists of people who are entitled to this payment. By the end of this week, the lists will be formed and transferred to the relevant organizations," the department director emphasized.
For new recipients, three ways of submitting documents are available:
- personally at the Pension Fund offices
- through the Administrative Service Centers
- electronically through the PFU portal
"A person can buy firewood or coal with this money. We compensate the cost of two tons of coal for subsidy recipients, for beneficiaries - one ton," Okhrimenko explained.
All payments will be made from the state budget and should be completed by December 31, 2024.
Recall, the PFU explained the special conditions of voluntary contributions for young parents.
