Support Program for Pensioners

According to ТСН: The program was implemented in the "Podorozhnyk" pharmacy chain in the frontline regions of Ukraine: Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Donetsk regions. Pensioners who registered in the loyalty program received 1000 hryvnias in their bonus account when they presented their pension certificate. These bonuses can be used for any products in the pharmacy, including medicines and care products.

Value of the Program

The company emphasizes that the main goal of the program was not only financial encouragement but also providing choice for elderly people.

“We gave participants in the action the opportunity to manage the funds needed for their health independently, and to provide a sense of care that has real value. Every pensioner registered in the "Podorozhnyk" loyalty program automatically received 1000 UAH in bonuses — without forms, certificates, or queues. Just a phone number and pension certificate. They could spend it on any products in the pharmacy — from medications and vitamins to care products,” the team of the "Podorozhnyk" pharmacy chain notes.

Convenience of the Program

Thanks to a simple mechanism that does not require filling out forms and gathering documents, participation in the program became convenient for elderly people living in conflict zones. Information about the possibility of receiving support was provided to pensioners by communities, volunteers, doctors, as well as through the media and social networks. Recently, the initiative "Thousand of Health" received professional recognition: the "Podorozhnyk" project won in the nomination "Social Responsibility and Impact" at the PR cases competition 2025, organized by the media MMR and business/media bureau Ekonomika+.

Future of the Program

Considering the experience gained, the company plans to expand support, taking into account the interests of other vulnerable groups, such as veterans, individuals with chronic illnesses, and families of military personnel.

Self-medication can harm your health.

This support program for pensioners has become an important initiative in conditions where many elderly people face economic difficulties. It not only helped a significant number of individuals receive necessary medications but also gave them a sense of care and attention from society. Given the positive results, the company plans to continue developing its social projects to reach even more vulnerable segments of the population.
