Pentagon: NATO Boosts Ukrainian Air Defense Instead of Direct Intervention.

The Pentagon clarified why approaches to protecting the airspace of Ukraine and Israel differ, emphasizing the success of Ukrainian air defense and the continued support of the United States.
Specifically, US Department of Defense spokeswoman Sabrina Singh stated that NATO will not intercept missiles and drones over Ukraine as it does over Israel, since the landscapes and combat conditions in these two countries differ. Such intervention in the war would be dangerous.
"We are talking about two very different landscapes and battlefields. The President indicated that we must provide Ukraine with the necessary means on the battlefield when Russia invaded its territory," - noted the spokeswoman.
Singh noted that Ukraine is successfully using air defense and other capabilities to hold its territory.
The spokeswoman also noted that an invasion from Polish or Romanian territory would also be considered aggression and could draw NATO into the war.
The US strategy envisions avoiding direct NATO intervention in the conflict and focusing on strengthening Ukraine's capabilities.
