The Pension Fund of Ukraine clarified the rules for counting double pension service for medical workers.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine explained how periods of double service will be counted for employees of narcological departments. According to the explanation, the periods of work until January 1, 2004, in institutions providing psychiatric assistance will be counted towards the service in double size, regardless of the position.
In institutions that provide psychiatric assistance, including psychiatric, narcological, and other specialized health care institutions, such as centers, departments, and offices of any form of ownership, the relevant periods of work will be counted.
The calculation of insurance service is carried out in accordance with Article 24 of the Law of Ukraine 'On Mandatory State Pension Insurance', which came into force in 2004. At the same time, periods of labor activity before 2004 are counted according to the previous rules.
It was also announced that in 2025, the retirement age for Ukrainians will change.
